Acer wanted a program to keep its products at the forefront of consumer thinking and drive sales of its LCD TV range. It also wanted to create positive brand awareness.

Spectrum needed to position Acer as an innovator in IT circles and the 37" LCD being the first on the market to have a wireless media gateway installed within the unit provided an ideal opportunity.

Spectrum undertook a media relations campaign targeting consumer IT and PC publications. We distributed a targeted press announcement and organised an extensive evaluation program to ensure Acer's new LCD TV reached the right journalists and the right audience.

Through targeted pitching and evaluations, blanket media coverage was generated across metropolitan dailies, consumer and trade publications and online media to help take Acer LCD TV's to the highest grossing sales in this market within three months of launch.
