Naomi at Work: A director and co-founder of Spectrum, Naomi Beames plays a pivotal role in maintaining the company's position as one of Australia's leading and most reputable technology, business-to-business and consumer tech public relations consultancies.

Since establishing Spectrum in 1996, Naomi and co-director Wendy Docherty, have held firm to the principle of providing the Australian IT and consumer oriented industries with innovative and highly ethical public relations services.

Naomi is often described as someone who constantly looks "outside the box" for solutions to communication issues. Her ability to identify unique opportunities and strategies has been a major contributing factor in many of the highly successful marketing and communication campaigns undertaken by Spectrum.

In her senior role and in partnership with Wendy, Naomi is instrumental in maintaining strong and effective communications between Spectrum and all its clients. While Account Directors and Senior Account Managers are afforded high levels of autonomy, Naomi plays an active role across her clients by providing her own expert style of strategic planning and issues and crisis management.

Naomi is instrumental in driving Spectrum's business forward. Finding new opportunities for the company and also ensuring all our clients' needs are completely delivered. She constantly looks for new and interesting approaches that continue to stand Spectrum's clients above the rest of the pack.

Throughout her extensive career, Naomi has won numerous awards and accolades from her peers and various industry bodies.

Naomi has a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) and a Masters of Management (Business). She is a fellow of the PRIA and a member of AIM (Australian Institute of Management).

Naomi at Play: Naomi's children keep her busy and continually delight her with their curiosity - she is hoping they will learn to program the VCR for her in the near future. Naomi juggles so many things she couldn't get by without her Blackberry! She loves technology that frees her up to enjoy herself and accomplish the thing she does best - being a taxi service for her kids.
