Catch the colour bug with Lanier

In August 2006, Lanier splashed into the IT media scene with the launch of its “Colour Is Contagious” campaign. Conducted in both Melbourne and Sydney, the events saw Lanier unveil a series of its colour printers, copiers and multi-function devices, designed to cater for all business requirements. Spectrum worked with Lanier to execute a customer and media event that would drive home the impact that colour has on our lives, whether at work or during play - taking a different approach to promoting document solutions.

With laughter being one of the most welcomed contagious conditions in the world, Jean Kittson, one of Australia’s most popular comedians, delivered a hilarious skit at both events, and continued to spread the laughter and colour throughout the night, with the help of aura readers, cartoonists, fire breathers, clowns and magicians. All emphasising how colour has a positive affect on our lives.

In addition to the launch, Lanier stepped up its media relations initiatives by inviting IT journalists to a series of corporate hospitality event at AFL games in both Sydney and Melbourne. This relationship building initiative succeeded in significantly raising Lanier’s profile amongst IT media, resulting in a series of feature opportunities coming to the fore and strengthening relations between Lanier and key journalists.
