Spectrum worked with Focus Publishing and The Children's Hospital at Westmead to launch 'The Complete Parenting Guide - Caring For Your Child From Toddler To Teenager.' This was the first ever reference book with dedicated advice on illnesses and parenting challenges specifically relevant to raising children in Australia.

Spearheaded by Focus Publishing and produced in partnership with 24 commercial sponsors, editorial contributions were drawn from Australia's leading paediatricians at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. A cash donation was also made to the Hospital from every book sold.

The campaign was announced by Professor Kim Oates with support from the NSW Department of Health and continues to generate funds for equipment and resources at the Hospital today. Over $500,000 of coverage was generated for the Hospital, Focus Publishing and sponsors in the first three months after the launch.
